SEE 2083 Registration Form Notice (NEB)

Government of Nepal, National Examinations Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations Grade 10, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Registration for Inclusion in SEE 2083.

To include students in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2083, students regularly studying in Grade 9 in the academic session 2082 in the General, Traditional (Sanskrit/Vedvidyashram/Gurukul/Madarsa/Gompa), and Technical streams must fill and submit the registration form from 2082 Kartik 19 to 2082 Mangsir 24. This notice is issued for the information of all concerned students, schools, local level Education Section/Branch, Education Development and Coordination Units, and Education Development Directorates.

Instructions for Schools (Current Grade 9 Students)

1. Students currently enrolled in Grade 9 in the General, Traditional, and Technical streams must have passed the annual Grade 8 (or equivalent) examination under the letter grading system. Along with the form, they must attach a copy of the gradesheet with a minimum D grade under the letter grading system (2079 or earlier) and a copy of the birth registration certificate (certified by the Principal). They must paste a recently taken passport-size photograph in the designated space and submit the form to their current school with a fee of Rs. 300. The fee must be deposited under Revenue Title No.: 14229.

2. Schools must verify and certify that the student’s name, date of birth, and parents’ names are correctly filled in such a way that they will not change later. Schools must submit the forms to the respective Education Development and Coordination Unit by the end of 2082 Mangsir, along with the revenue fee details.

3. Students of Open and Alternative Schools and Non-Formal Adult Schools must fill the registration form together with the examination application form at the time of filing for the 2082 examination.

Purpose of the Registration Form

This form is to register students from the General, Traditional, and Technical streams for inclusion in SEE 2083. Students who do not fill this form will not be allowed to sit for SEE in that year.

Age Requirement

Students who filled the registration form in 2082 and wish to be included in the SEE 2083 must have completed 14 years of age by the end of 2083 Chaitra.

Schedule for Online Entry and Verification (Education Development and Coordination Units)

1. Task: Online entry by the Education Development and Coordination Unit and sending to schools for verification

• Timeframe: By the end of 2082 Poush

2. Task: Schools verify and send back to the Education Development and Coordination Unit

• Timeframe: By 2082 Magh 15

3. Task: Education Development and Coordination Unit assigns registration numbers and provides school-wise details to the Office of the Controller of Examinations

• Timeframe: By the end of 2082 Magh

4. Task: The Office of the Controller of Examinations finalizes registration numbers; the Education Development and Coordination Unit forwards details to the concerned Education Development Directorate, the concerned municipality, and the concerned schools

• Timeframe: By the end of 2082 Falgun

Note

• Students must fill the registration form only from the school where they are regularly studying. If found to have been filled from more than one school/district/location, both forms will be automatically canceled. Do not engage in double registration. If this rule is violated, the examination will be canceled later, and the person/institution responsible will be held accountable.

• A sample registration form is available on the website of the Office of the Controller of Examinations. Schools must have each student fill two copies. After the Office of the Controller of Examinations assigns the registration number and provides the soft copy to the Education Development and Coordination Unit, the registration number must be written on the student’s filled form. The student’s photograph must be affixed, and the form must be certified by the Principal and the Unit Chief. One copy must be kept by the school, and one copy must be provided to the student.

Corrected

With reference to the notice published on 2082-07-16 regarding filling and submitting the application form, Point No. 12 stated that students of Open, Alternative, and Non-Formal Adult Schools must fill the registration form together with the application form.

However, due to special reasons, students who were studying in Grade 9 in the academic session 2081 had their registration forms filled in 2082, and students of Open and Alternative Schools also filled the registration form at the same time.

Therefore, as per the notice dated 2082-07-16, students of Open and Alternative Schools may fill only the application form.
