Gokulganga Rural Municipality (गोकुलगंगा गाउँपालिका, रामेछाप) is a natural and culturally beautiful and green Rural Municipality located in the northeastern hilly terrain of Ramechhap District, Province No. 3 of Nepal. The office of Gokuganga Rural Municipality is located at Ward No. 3, Rasnalu, about 40 kilometers from the district headquarters Manthali. It has been declared as Rural Municipality by establishing 6 wards comprising 6 Village Development Committees including the former Farpu, Namadi, Betali, Rasnalu, Those, and Chuchure.
Most of this Rural Municipality is covered by hilly terrain and is mainly inhabited by mixed castes. The municipality is predominantly Hindu, Buddhist, Kirant, and Christian. The tourist areas are Tambe Danda and Panchpokhari. There is a lot of potential for herbs and hydropower.
