Likhu Rural Municipality (लिखु गाउँपालिका, नुवाकोट) was incorporated in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local level government of Nepal. Likhu Gaunpalika is located in Dunde, Nuwakot district of Nepal. It was formed by merging 5 VDC's such as Khanigaun, Suryamati, Chaughatda (Ward no. 1,2,5,6,7,8), Thansingh (Ward no. 1-7) and Thanapati (Ward no. 5). The total area of this municipality is 47.88 sq. meter and the total Population is 16,852 living in 3629 households. It is divided into 6 wards.
