Suryagadhi Rural Municipality

Suryagadhi Rural Municipality (Nepali: सूर्यगढि गाउँपालिका) was incorporated in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local government of Nepal. The headquarters of Suryagadhi Gaupalika is located in Chokade Bazar, Nuwakot district of Nepal. It was formed by merging Lachyang, Bageshwori, Haldekalika and Ganeshsthan Village Development Committees.

Currently, it has divided into 5 wards. The total area of this Gaupalika is 49.8 square kilometer and the total population is 16,800 as per the census of 2011. This village has a population of various ethnic and religious communities.
