Overview
Phikkal Rural Municipality (फिक्कल गाउँपालिका, सिन्धुली) is located in Sindhuli district. After the implementation of 744 local levels by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development in 2073 BS, the former Mahadebdanda, Pokhari, Kholagaun, Khangsang, Solpathana, and Ratnawati Village Development Committees were formed in Sindhuli District. The Phikkal Rural Municipality has a total area of 186.06 square Km.
Phikkal Gaunpalika is divided into six wards. Its total population is 16968. It is bounded by Okhaldhunga district and Udaipur district on the east, Tinpatan rural municipality on the west, Golanjar rural municipality and Dudhauli municipality on the north, Okhaldhunga district and Ramechhap district on the north, and Dudhauli municipality and Udaipur district on the south.
