200 People Got Permission to Climb Mt. Everest

So far 200 people (41 females and 154 males) have taken permission to climb Mt. Everest. According to the Department of Tourism, 176 people from 41 countries have applied for permission to climb Mt. Everest in the spring, of which 154 have received permission from Russia, including 46 women.

According to Surya Prasad Upadhyay, director of the Department of Tourism, a total of 16 Russian climbers have been allowed to climb Mt. Everest till Wednesday. Twenty-five from the UK, 15 from India, 10 from Nepal, and 10 from Canada have applied for permission. Citizens of 38 countries have taken permission to climb Mt. Everest. A total of 451 people from 53 groups have taken permission to climb 16 mountains including Mt. Everest till Wednesday. Among them, citizens from 59 countries have come to Nepal.
