Apply Online for Lost Driving License, Bill Book, and Permit:
The traffic department has ended the obligation to go to the traffic office to get the recommendation of the missing driver's license, vehicle registration book, and driver's license. Clients will now be able to make the recommendation by filling out an online form from home.
In order to make the service provided by the Traffic Division more technology-friendly, to make the service recipients more comfortable and simple, and also to take into account the difficult situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Division has started such an arrangement from today with the support of the Police Headquarters.
Chief of the Division, SSP Bhim Dhakal, said that the situation where the service recipients have to go to the Traffic Police Office by taking several days for the lost license, bill book, and permit has been ended.
He also informed that around 200 service recipients apply for the missing recommendation in the department daily. As soon as this system was started, the days of going to the traffic office and submitting the application and getting the recommendation report have come to an end and the service recipients can get the recommendation report at home.
How to fill the form?
Anyone who needs a recommendation report has to go to the Traffic Police website www.traffic.nepalpolice.gov.np and fill out the form. After opening the website, you have to click on the Lost Document Application on the right side. The client then has to fill in his / her details as per the demand.
Similarly, after clicking on the application, the client will have to select which missing documents are required for a recommendation. Then the name, phone number, address, and file or scan of the license or passport to reveal the identity of the applicant has to be given by the client through the online system.
After filling all the details as per the demand, the service recipient gets the application number. The client will be able to receive or receive the recommendation 24 hours after filling the form online. For this, the service recipient can get the recommendation report by clicking on the check application in the said application, keeping the given application number, full name, and documents number. You can take the print of the recommendation report and go to the transport office to get your license or vehicle document.

2. View on the Right Menu Bar and Click on "Lost Document Application" Tab
3. You will see an application form and fill-up the form correctly.
4. You will be able to receive or receive the recommendation within 24 hours after filling the form online.
