Coronavirus Could Impact the Brains

Coronavirus Could Impact the Brain - Some Cases Revealed:

After the throat and lungs, the corona has now gripped the brain as well. Many neurologists around the world are confirming this news. They say that there have been some interesting cases from the world. There is also a section of patients in these cases in which serious brain diseases are flourishing. Symptoms such as swelling in the brain of corona-infected patients, blood clots in the brain, and inability to speak are also seen. Corona has caught more than 12 lakh people in the world so far. The main symptoms of corona are reported to be fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing, but some people infected with this disease are also experiencing symptoms such as encephalitis or brain dysfunction. Due to which the ability to smell and recognize taste in patients is decreasing and at the same time the chances of getting heart disease are also being revealed.

Decreased patient speaking ability:

In early March, a 74-year-old patient was admitted to emergency due to cough and fever. When the patient was x-rayed, pneumonia was reported and the patient was sent back home. The next day the patient again had a high fever, after which the family brought him to the hospital. Suddenly the patient started having trouble breathing and the condition became so bad that it was difficult for the doctor to tell his name. The 74-year-old patient had now lost his ability to speak.

The patient had severe lung disease, in addition, he was also suffering from Parkinson's disease. Soon the patient started having problems in running the arms and legs and there was a danger of brain attack. The doctor suspected that the patient had coronavirus, which was confirmed after the test.

Symptoms like headache, brain swelling:

Another case related to the mind came up in Michigan's Drayat. A 50-year-old female airline employee had coronavirus. The woman told the doctor about a headache. After a lot of struggle, the woman was able to tell the doctor her name but after some time she started giving fewer answers. When the woman's brain was screened, there was some abnormal swelling in the brain and some cells of one part of the brain got damaged due to damage.

The doctor described it as a very dangerous state of mind and named the disease 'acute necrotizing encephalopathy'. Such complication is caused by influenza and other virus infections. Neurologist of the Henry Ford Health System, Dr. Aegisa Fauré, says that after a few days of infection the brain swells and persists. It is clear from this case that in rare cases coronavirus can engulf the brain as well.

Symptoms like blood clots in the brain and seizures

Many doctors in Italy and the world saw many such cases of corona in which the patient got symptoms of cough, fever and brain-related diseases. These symptoms include seizures, symptoms like encephalitis, a blood clot in the brain, and numbness of the brain. A separate neuro-COVID unit has been introduced for such patients in Italy.

Ventilator for lungs but nothing for brain

According to the University of Pittsburgh neurologist Dr. Sherry Chou, constant efforts are being made for more information on such symptoms. He further said that the ventilator has not yet been made for the brain, if there is a problem in the lungs, then the patient is lying on the ventilator to cure it, but we do not have this facility for the brain.

Chinese researchers' statement on coronavirus

In recent research, Chinese researchers say that from some cases such evidence has come out which suggests that the coronavirus is not just limited to the windpipe, it is reaching the nervous system. In February, there were also cases of China turtle patients who had seen symptoms of mental illness, but later these patients were found to be suffering from corona, although symptoms such as cough and fever were not found in these patients.
