
Outstanding SEE Contributors Honored in West Nawalparasi
A total of 14 teachers have been honored in West Nawalparasi for their significant contribution to the outstanding results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). According to Mahendra Subedi, Head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, eight teachers from community schools and six from institutional schools were recognized based on subject-wise performance.

According to Subedi, the awardees were selected based on their success in achieving the highest average learning outcomes in compulsory subjects.

All subject teachers awarded in the institutional category are from New Life Boarding School, Bardaghat.
Recognition of School Management Leaders
In addition to the teachers, the chairpersons of the school management committees from the top-performing schools of all seven local levels in the district were also honored.
Bhagwati Yadav, Head of the District Coordination Committee and Chair of the District Education Committee, expressed confidence that such honors would encourage both teachers and school committee officials to improve academic outcomes.
Chief District Officer Hiralal Regmi emphasized that while teacher evaluations may not be externally conducted, student achievement should be the key source of teachers’ self-satisfaction.
Significant Improvement in SEE Results
This year, West Nawalparasi recorded notable improvement in SEE performance compared to the previous year.

This year: Over 59% of students received a graded result
Among all local levels in the district, Sunwal Municipality achieved the highest performance. In contrast, schools under Pratappur Rural Municipality showed the weakest results, with only 29.72% of students passing.
