TU 51st Convocation 2082 Program Notice
Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu, Notice Regarding the Program of the 51st Convocation Ceremony.
Tribhuvan University’s 51st Convocation Ceremony will be held on Poush 10, 2082 (Thursday), corresponding to 25th Dec., 2025, at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwar. This notice is published for the information of all concerned students.
Students participating in the ceremony must enter the venue by 10:00 AM wearing their respective gown/scarf/cap, and must be seated in the designated place according to the seating arrangement.
Students receiving the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree and convocation medals/awards must sit in the front row, in the seat assigned under their name.
Other detailed programs related to this ceremony are as follows:
1. Gown/Scarf Distribution

Date: From Poush 1, 2082 to Poush 8, 2082 (including holidays)

Time: From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Venue: TU Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu

Gown Collection Card received while filling the online form to participate in the convocation ceremony

Important: As gown/scarf/cap will not be distributed from the ceremony venue on 2082/9/9 and on the ceremony day 2082/9/10, students must compulsorily collect the gown/scarf/cap by 2082/9/8.
2. Dress Code
The dress to be worn by students attending the ceremony will be as follows:

For male students:

Any preferred dress with coat, pants, and tie, along with a Bhadgaunle topi, and the gown/scarf/cap provided by TU

For female students:

Formal dress or sari and blouse, and the gown/scarf/cap provided by TU

3. Certificate Distribution
-
Certificate distribution location: Certificates will be distributed from the certificate distribution counter located at the Nepali Army Headquarters, on the north side of Dasharath Stadium.

Required document to collect the certificate: Certificate Collection Card received while filling the online form

Later collection (if not collected on the day / unable to attend): Students who attended the convocation but could not collect the certificate on that day, and students who applied to participate but could not participate, may later collect their certificate from: TU Office of the Controller of Examinations, Records and Certificates Division, Balkhu (Room No. 3).
4. Return of Gown/Scarf/Cap and Refund of Deposit (including holidays)

Return period and time: From Poush 13, 2082 to the end of Poush, the gown/scarf/cap must be returned at TU Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Deposit refund conditions: Only after returning the gown/scarf/cap along with the Gown Return Card received while filling the online form, the deposit amount of Rs. 1,200 will be refunded through the concerned student’s bank account. Rs. 300 will be deducted as maintenance charge.

If lost / not returned: If the gown/scarf/cap is lost, or if any one of the three items is lost, or if the items are not returned, the deposit will not be refunded.

If damaged (deduction from deposit): If there is damage, deductions will be made from the deposit as follows:

Scarf: Rs. 300
-
Cap: Rs. 400
-
Gown: Rs. 500
-

Late fee and deposit refund: For students who do not return the gown/scarf/cap within the above period, the deposit will be refunded after deducting a late fee as below. Students who filled the form but did not collect the gown/scarf/cap will also be charged the same late fee to receive the deposit refund.

Mandatory requirement to claim refund: To receive the deposit refund, the Gown Return Card received while filling the online form must be submitted compulsorily. Otherwise, the amount will not be refunded.

From 2082/10/1 to 2082/10/7: Late fee Rs. 100

From 2082/10/8 to 2082/10/15: Late fee Rs. 200

From 2082/10/16 to 2082/10/22: Late fee Rs. 300

From 2082/10/23 to 2082/10/30: Late fee Rs. 400
-
From 2082/11/1 to the end of Falgun 2082: Late fee Rs. 500
-
If the deposit is not claimed even within the specified period, the deposit amount will automatically lapse.
