Correction Notice in Grade 9 Compulsory Nepali Textbook
Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Curriculum Development Centre, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Correction in Grade 9 Compulsory Nepali Textbook.
With reference to the above subject, in the Grade 9 compulsory Nepali textbook prepared by this Centre in the year 2079 B.S. and currently under implementation, it has been found that in Lesson 5, on page number 54, under the section Understanding and Expression, Exercise 13, the song line “Yaspali ta manai phatyo kele siune kele talne …” was mistakenly attributed to lyricist Amber Gurung.
Upon verification of authenticity, it has been confirmed that the actual lyricist of the song is Rajendra Thapa. Therefore, the textbook has been corrected accordingly.
All concerned educational institutions are hereby requested to carry out teaching-learning activities in line with the updated fact, as per the decision.
