Dharapani Secondary School completes 75th anniversary

Dharapani Secondary School, located at Paudure in Annapurna-3, Kaski, has completed its 75th anniversary. During the ceremony, Rural Municipality Chair Vishnubadur KC praised the school’s educational quality.
He said the rural municipality is also working to improve quality.
Recalling the school’s proud history, he also pointed out that the school has been gradually winning the trust of students and parents.
Deputy chair calls for support to the education improvement campaign
Rural Municipality Deputy Chair Chandrakala Adhikari said the rural municipality is in a campaign to improve education and urged everyone to support it.
She also stated that investment in education never goes to waste.
Speakers emphasize strengthening institutions and implementing annual plans
On the occasion, Deputy Secretary Ghanshyam Paudel; Ward No. 3 Chair Phanindra Prasad Paudel; Ward No. 2 Chair Pitambar Bhandari; social worker Kulbahadur Gurung (Kulu); rural education committee member Kamala KC; Baljyoti Basic School Chair Dillirampaudel; Laxmi Basic School Chair Krishna Prasad Paudel; social workers Maheshwar Paudel, Madan Prasad Paudel, and Pushparaj Paudel; former headteachers Krishna Bahadur Kunwar and Kedarnath Adhikari; Rajendra Adhikari of Biomi International; and Headteacher Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Machhapuchchhre Secondary School, among others, spoke.
They stated that educational institutions should be made stronger, annual work calendars should be implemented, and parents have an important role in education reform.

School Chair Chandrabhadur Gurung said the management committee has been continuously active for academic advancement and expressed commitment to make the school stronger in the coming days.

Headteacher Hariprasad Bhandari presented the annual progress and provided information about the school’s academic achievements, efforts made, and future goals.
Teachers honoured for achieving 100 percent pass results
During the program, teachers Hariprasad Bhandari, Nayan Paudel, Narayan Paudel, Resham Prasad Subedi, Ram Bahadur Gurung, Krishna Prasad Bhandari, Ghanshyam Adhikari, and Shiva Prasad Paudel were honoured for successfully ensuring 100 percent student pass results in their respective subjects.
Students rewarded and former teachers given farewell honours
Likewise, students who passed SEE were awarded certificates along with cash.
Students who received a silver medal in the President Running Shield competition were also rewarded.
Similarly, former teachers Resham Prasad Subedi, Narayan Paudel, Krishna Prasad Bhandari, and Manisha Dahal were honoured and given a farewell.
Bhajan performance, scholarships, and event management
A bhajan was presented under the leadership of teacher Shiva Prasad Paudel.
Along with educational awards, scholarships were distributed.
In the ceremony chaired by School Chair Gurung, teacher Udayaraj Subedi and student Roshani Bik delivered the welcome remarks.
The program was conducted by Assistant Headteacher Nayan Paudel.
