Education Minister Rai Advocates for Increased Budget to Elevate Education Sector
Education, Science and Technology Minister Ashok Kumar Rai has emphasized the necessity for a higher budget allocation to improve the country's education sector. This proposition was made during the House of Representatives meeting where the Ministry's budget allocation was under discussion.
Making the Most of Available Resources
Minister Rai made a firm commitment to optimally utilize the existing budget to propel reforms within the education sector. He asserted that the government has prioritized enhancing the quality of school education, promoting access to, and empowerment through technical education, and fostering a research-oriented approach in higher education.

"The key to supplying the necessary manpower for the country lies in guaranteeing quality, skill-oriented, and practical education to all citizens," Minister Rai noted.
The Ministry has taken on the imperative task of improving the quality of school education, expanding access to technical education, and making higher education predominantly research-based. Efforts are being intensified to use the existing budget optimally for these educational reforms.
