Dilauri, Jumla

Jumla, Nepal: In a significant development for the field of technical education in Nepal, the Sinja Rural Municipality in Jumla has announced the establishment of a new Polytechnic Institute in the region of Dilauri, Bhadgaon. This move is set to open new horizons for youth in this rural area, providing them with unprecedented access to technical education and vocational training.

Community and Government Join Hands for Educational Advancement

The project, a result of the collaborative efforts between the local community and the government, has successfully overcome its initial hurdle with the acquisition of necessary land. This was made possible through the collective contributions of the residents of Bhadgaon.

A significant plot of land, measuring 17,165 square meters, has already been secured for the institute. Plans are underway to expand this to around one lakh square meters, further cementing the community's dedication to this cause.

CTEVT Approval Marks a New Beginning

The Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), a pivotal body in Nepal's technical education sector, has given its approval for the establishment of the institute. This endorsement is crucial for the institute's development, ensuring that it meets national educational standards and requirements.

Empowering the Youth Through Technical Skills

The Polytechnic Institute aims to provide practical and hands-on technical education, addressing the urgent need for skilled manpower in various industries. This is particularly significant for economically disadvantaged students in Bhadgaon, who will now have better access to job-oriented education.

Local Authorities' Commitment to Educational Excellence

According to Lal Bahadur Budha, Ward President of Sinja Rural Municipality 6, this initiative is a testament to the local authorities' commitment to enhancing educational facilities in the region. The government's role in providing physical infrastructure and financial support is a crucial component of this project.

The upcoming Polytechnic Institute in Dilauri is more than just an educational institution; it represents a beacon of hope and progress for the youth of Jumla. It stands as a testament to the power of community involvement and government support in transforming the educational landscape of rural Nepal. With its doors set to open soon, the institute is poised to become a key player in shaping the future of the region's young minds.
