FSU Council Nepal Organizes ‘Model Parliament Practice 2083’ at Patan Multiple Campus

Location: Lalitpur

With the objective of encouraging the younger generation to participate up to the level of national policy formulation and law implementation, the Free Student Union (FSU) Council Nepal organized the “Model Parliament Practice 2083.”

The special program, held at Patan Multiple Campus in Lalitpur, provided young participants with practical training and exercises on legislative procedures.

According to the organizer, the practice aimed to develop a deeper understanding among participating youths of the country’s existing parliamentary system, the different stages of lawmaking, and the process of its implementation.

As stated by the FSU Council, the program will play an important role in enhancing young people’s capacity in democratic values, constitutional content, and various aspects of leadership development.

Main Objectives of the Practice

To directly familiarize students with parliamentary decorum and the processes of debate and discussion held in the House.

To encourage young people to reach the policy-making level of the state in the future.

The FSU Council expressed confidence that such creative exercises would be highly useful in increasing young people’s interest in the country’s political and administrative system and preparing them as responsible citizens.
