Govt Vaccinating Students age group of 12 to 17 in 57 Districts

Covid-19 Vaccination

The government has been vaccinating students in the age group of 12 to 17 in 57 districts against corona virus since Sunday (19th December 2021). The Ministry of Health and Population is going to give the first dose of modern vaccine to the students from 19th December 2021 to 29th December.

Students of Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Bhojpur, Dhankuta, Terhathum, Panchthar, Ilam, Udaipur, Siraha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat and Bara districts will be vaccinated.

Dolakha, Sindhupanchok, Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot, Ramechhap, Makwanpur, Gorkha, Manang, Mustang, Myagdi, Lamjung, Tanahu, Nawalparasi East, Syangja, Parbat, Rukumpur, Rolpa, Pyuthan, Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Paschim, Students of Dolpa, Mugu, Humla, Jumla, Kalikot, Dailekh, Jajarkot, Rukumpashchim, Salyan, Bajura, Bajhang, Darchula, Baitadi, Doti, Achham and Kanchanpur districts will be vaccinated.

Similarly, the ministry is conducting Pfizer vaccination campaign in 19 districts including Sindhuli and 20 districts where Pfizer vaccination has been conducted for chronic patients above 12 years of age.

Similarly, the Ministry is conducting the first dose of Pfizer vaccine to the children of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Dadeldhura and Surkhet from 28 December 2021 to 6 January, 2022. The second phase will be conducted in those districts from January 18 to January 27, 2022, the ministry said.
