Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City Invites Proposals for the Logo Design of ‘Hetauda Tourism Year 2083’

Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City has invited proposals from interested Nepali citizens, artists, designers, and associations/organizations to prepare the official symbol (logo) for “Hetauda Tourism Year 2083.”
According to the Sub-Metropolitan City’s approved annual program for the fiscal year 2083/84, this notice has been published with the objective of promoting the historical, religious, cultural, natural, and tourist destinations of the area at the national and international levels.
Interested applicants must submit the logo design in sealed form within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice (2083.04.21).
Conditions and Criteria for the Logo

Distinct identity: The logo must creatively and artistically present the natural beauty of Hetauda, its identity as a green city, religious heritage, forests and vegetation, biodiversity, and tourism potential in symbolic form.

Originality: The logo must be completely new, original, and unpublished. If it is found to be identical or partially similar to the logo or symbol of any other person or institution, the application will automatically be canceled.

Social and national unity: The logo must not promote any ethnic, religious, regional, or social communalism, nor should it have any adverse effect on national unity and integrity.

Concept Note: A brief explanatory note, not exceeding one page, must be attached compulsorily, clearly explaining the meaning of the colors, lines, shapes, and symbols used in the logo.

Prize: Among the submitted designs, one best designer will be selected on the basis of evaluation by a team of subject experts and will be provided an appropriate cash prize.

Copyright and ownership: The full copyright and all usage rights of the selected logo shall remain vested in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City. The proposer must be willing to make partial modifications to the logo if required.
Submission Process and Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following:

A high-quality hard copy of the proposed logo in A4 size (color print)

A soft copy via pen drive or email in PNG/TIFF/Vector File (AI/EPS/PDF) format with a minimum resolution of 600 DPI

The outside of the sealed envelope must clearly state: “Proposal for Logo Design of Hetauda Tourism Year 2083”

A copy of the applicant’s citizenship certificate

Application Deadline
Interested applicants must submit their application to the Administration Section of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City within office hours on the 15th day from the date of publication of the notice, by 5:00 PM.
The Sub-Metropolitan City has stated that if the final day falls on a public holiday, the proposal may be submitted on the next day the office reopens.
