Lock Down

India Lockdown for 21 Days:

A 21-day 'lockdown' has been implemented across India from midnight on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the announcement on Tuesday in the name of the nation.

Coronavirus has caused uproar across the country. Meanwhile, the lockdown was announced for 21 days across the country by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 8 pm on Tuesday night. During his announcement, PM Modi said that if 21 days are not maintained, the country will go back 21 years. In his address, PM Modi asked people to implement many things to defeat dangerous viruses like Coronavirus.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in India exceeds 500 and the entire country has been 'locked down'. This number is considered to be the point at which the outbreak of the coronavirus can accelerate.

"The next 21 days are very sensitive to our day," he said, "in the meantime, wherever you are, stay in the house wherever you are."

Modi has addressed this for the second time in the last week. In a previous address, he imposed a 'people's curfew' on Sunday and called on the general public not to leave the house. Since then, the whole country has been 'locked-down' as the transition continues.

Coronavirus has been reported in 519 people in India while 10 have died.
