Institutional Schools in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Propose Name and Location Changes; Claims and Objections Invited
The Education Department (Kamaladi) under the Office of the Municipal Executive of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has published a notice regarding proposed changes to the names and locations of some institutional schools operating within the Metropolitan City. The Department published the notice for the first time on 2083/05/05 (Nepal Sambat 1146 Gulathwa, Navami), inviting written applications from anyone having any claim or objection to the proposed changes.
The concerned schools had registered applications with the Education Department along with letters from the Office of the Company Registrar regarding changes to their names and locations. If any individual, association, or organization has any claim or objection regarding such changes to the name or location of an educational institution, a written application must be submitted to the Education Department with the necessary evidence within 35 (thirty-five) days from the date of publication of the notice. The Metropolitan City has stated that if no claim or objection is received within the specified period, the changes will be made as requested by the applicants.
In a postscript, the Department has also clarified that publication of this notice alone should not be considered as confirmation that the name, location, or ownership of a school has been changed.

Buddha Pashupati English Boarding School (Current address: Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Boudha): Proposed name — Nikunj Academy, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Boudha.

Sai Shiksha Niketan Kathmandu (Current address: Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30, Gyaneshwar): Proposed name — Kusum Vidya Secondary School, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30, Gyaneshwar.

Mansi Academy (Current address: Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30, Gyaneshwar): Proposed name — Mansi Bal Batika, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30, Gyaneshwar.
