Kathmandu University Invites Private Colleges for Affiliation - Call for Letter of Intent
Kathmandu University has announced that it will grant affiliation to private colleges in specific academic programs. The Office of the Registrar has issued a notice calling for Letters of Intent from interested institutions.
Purpose of Affiliation
This move aims to expand student access to quality higher education under the university’s various schools, including:

School of Arts
-
School of Education
-
School of Engineering
-
School of Management
-
School of Medical Sciences
Affiliation will be granted for selected programs within these faculties.
Eligible Programs for Affiliation
Private colleges can apply for affiliation in the following subjects:

Environmental Studies
-
Social Work
-
B.Tech in AI and IT
-
Health Informatics
-
Information Technology
-
Hospitality Management
Application Deadline
Interested colleges must submit all required documents by Ashad 10.
Eligibility Criteria

Colleges within Bagmati Province and all other provinces are eligible.

Medical colleges outside Bagmati Province must be recognized by Kathmandu University to apply.

Application Deposit
A deposit of NPR 50,000 is required to apply for affiliation.
