K.I. Singh Rural Municipality SaMi Vacancy Notice 2082

K.I. Singh Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Wayal, Doti, Sudurpachim Province, Nepal, invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens for the following positions under the Safe Migration (SaMi) Programme. These positions are announced as per the bilateral agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland to support safe foreign employment, information dissemination, case facilitation, psychosocial counselling, and awareness activities related to safe migration.

Positions and Eligibility

Advertisement No.: 01/2082/83 – Psychosocial Counsellor (Fifth Level)

Position: Psychosocial Counsellor (Fifth Level)

Number of Positions: 1

Qualifications:

• Completed Health Assistant or Staff Nurse from a recognized educational institution,
  or

• Completed a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Health Education from a recognized university,
  or

• Completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.

• Completed a six-month training related to psychosocial counselling with a certificate from the National Health Training Center.

• Work experience in the related field; women candidates will be given special priority.

• Completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 45 years on the final date for application.

• Eligible to apply for government service as per prevailing laws.

• Basic computer knowledge; must be able to respond to questions in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in Nepali or English.

• Ability to speak in both Nepali and English and to prepare reports in both languages.

Position: Returnee Volunteer

Number of Positions: 2

Qualifications:

• Minimum educational qualification of completion of class 8.

• At least 1 year of work experience in foreign employment (Gulf countries or Malaysia).

• Priority will be given to those who have worked in the field of safe foreign employment.

• Eligible to apply for government service as per prevailing laws.

• Must be a resident of the concerned local level for this position.

Service Term, Selection, and Benefits

Service Duration:

Initially up to the end of Ashadh 2083. The contract may be renewed based on programme needs and performance evaluation.

  • Practical examination

• For Returnee Volunteer:

  • Shortlisting

  • Written examination

  • Interview

Salary and Other Facilities:

As per the Safe Migration (SaMi) Programme (Phase IV) Operational Guideline, 2081.

Age Limit:

Must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 45 years on the final date for application.

Required Documents:

• Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate

• Copies of academic qualification certificates

• Copies of experience certificates

• One passport-size photograph

• A clear indication of the position applied for in the application

Applications must be submitted to the office of the Rural Municipality within the specified deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be included in the selection process.
