Kopila Valley School Among Top 10 Global Schools 2025

Kopila Valley School, based in Birendranagar, Surkhet, has been recognized as one of the Top 10 global schools for the World’s Best School Prize 2025, as announced by T4 Education.

The school was selected in the Environmental Action category, standing out for its long-term commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious learning.

A Proud First for Nepal

Top Bahadur Malla, Chairperson of Kopila Valley Society, shared that this marks the first time a school from Nepal has reached the global top 10 for environmental action.

He stated, “It’s a proud moment for our country. But to reach the top, we now need everyone’s support.”

Global Summit Invitation in Abu Dhabi

As a finalist, Kopila Valley has been invited to participate in the World School Summit, which will take place on November 15–16, 2025, at the Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This global event will bring together educators, students, and changemakers from over 50 countries.

Public Voting Now Open

School principal Rajen Kumar Karki emphasized that public votes will determine the final winner among the top 10. He encouraged all Nepalis—at home and abroad—to cast their votes for Kopila Valley, helping showcase Nepal's dedication to education and environmental stewardship.

Winner to Be Announced at the Summit

T4 Education confirmed that the final winner will be announced at the Abu Dhabi summit. The competition highlights schools making a real impact in five areas:
