Lumbini Buddhist University Appoints Fu Qiang as International Education and Cultural Exchange Ambassador
Lumbini Buddhist University has appointed Chinese student Fu Qiang as its “International Education and Cultural Exchange Ambassador.” Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Suvarnalal Bajracharya presented him with the certificate of appointment.
According to the university, Fu Qiang has contributed to promoting international student enrollment, cultural exchange, and expanding the university’s international reach.
Fu Qiang, who has been studying Buddhist Studies at Lumbini Buddhist University since 2025, has played an active role in projects including building wells in rural Nepali settlements by mobilizing charitable support from China and supporting the university library, the university stated.
After being appointed as the ambassador, Fu Qiang expressed his commitment to strengthening his academic journey in Buddhist Studies and promoting Buddhist education at the international level. The university stated that he aims to present the identity of Nepal’s only Buddhist university and the true essence of Buddhism to the world.
The university expressed confidence that international cooperation and cultural exchange will be further strengthened in the coming days.
