Promotion Recommendation List Revised After Court Verdict
Revised merit order for the Agri. Eco. & Marketing group published; Chandra Joshi also recommended for promotion

The Promotion Committee Secretariat under the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has revised the promotion recommendation list for the Nepal Agriculture Service by implementing the decision of the Administrative Court. Through a notice published today, the secretariat released the revised merit order for the post of Gazetted Second Class (Under Secretary) under the “Agri. Eco. & Marketing” group.
An appeal (Case No. 081-AC-0084) had been filed at the Administrative Court against the Promotion Committee’s decisions dated 2081/09/21 and 2081/09/27. Since the verdict issued by the court on 2082/08/26 had to be implemented, the Promotion Committee, in its meeting held on 2082/10/13, decided to revise the previously published list.
In accordance with the Civil Service Act, 2049, the revised merit order and the new recommendation have been maintained as follows.
1) Promotion by Seniority and Performance Evaluation (Revised List)
As per Promotion Notice No. 47-081/82, the revised merit order for the Nepal Agriculture Service, Agri. Eco. & Marketing group has been maintained as follows:

2) Promotion on the Basis of Work Efficiency (Revised List)
As per Promotion Notice No. 96-081/82, the revised merit order and total scores under the work efficiency evaluation for the same service and group are as follows:

Ishwar Barsila (Total Score: 100.0000)

Srijana Timilsina (Total Score: 100.0000)
3) Additional Promotion Recommendation (New Notice)
The Promotion Committee has also recommended a candidate to fill another vacant post. As per Promotion Notice No. 85-082/83 (noted as 85 in the notice), the following candidate has been recommended for promotion based on work efficiency:
Candidate: Chandra Joshi
Post: Gazetted Second Class (Agri. Eco. & Marketing)
Total Score: 100.0000
The Promotion Committee Secretariat stated that this notice has been published to inform all concerned for the purpose of Sections 20(4) and 24Cha of the Civil Service Act, 2049.
