Constitution Day 2077:
Hon'ble President that on the day of the Constitution Day, 2077 Ashoj 3, the following dignitaries will be awarded the following honorary titles, ornaments, and medals.
Constitution Day is being celebrated. Commemorating the day the Constituent Assembly issued the new constitution on 3rd Asoj of 2072 BS; Constitution Day and National Day are celebrated every year on the 3rd of Asoj.
On the occasion of the Constitution Day, President Bidyadevi Bhandari said that the great responsibility of moving the country towards economic prosperity including social justice has fallen on its shoulders after the completion of the phase of the struggle for political rights of the people. He expressed the belief that this day of the Constitution Day would inspire all the people's representative bodies, political parties, and all the organs of the state to implement the constitutional values and norms to achieve the common national resolution of prosperous Nepal and happy Nepalis.
The President called upon all to continue their sincere efforts with the dedication of mind, word, and deed to translate the essence and spirit of the Constitution into practice.
On the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day, 2077 BS, the President also wished for the welfare of the people and prosperity of the country through the implementation of the constitution.
On the occasion of the Constitution Day, the President paid homage to the known and unknown martyrs who lost their precious lives during the various movements for the establishment of the republic and also expressed respect and reverence to the pioneers of the movement for the establishment of democratic governance in the country.
Similarly, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun expressed confidence that the remaining work of implementing the constitution issued by the people-elected Constituent Assembly would be completed as soon as possible.
Giving best wishes on the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day-2077 BS, he expressed the belief that today would inspire everyone to fully implement the constitution even though there is still some work to be done.
