Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Notice Regarding National Poetry Festival 2082
On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Nepal Academy, the 'National Poetry Festival' will be organized by the Academy on Asar 9, 2082.
All Nepali poets are respectfully invited to submit their poems, either by being physically present at the Academy or by sending them via the email address mentioned below, typed in a computer format, by Jestha 20, 2082.
As the Poetry Festival will be inclusive, participatory, and multilingual, poems written in all languages/mother tongues of Nepal are welcome.
Poems written in mother tongues must be submitted along with their translations.
Out of the received poems, the best 10 poems will be awarded NPR 40,000 (in words: forty thousand) each along with a certificate of appreciation.
Poems must be completely original and should not have been broadcast or published through any electronic or print media until the conclusion of the 'National Poetry Festival 2082'.
Poems submitted after the deadline or not meeting the specified standards will not be included in the evaluation process.
Participating poets must clearly mention their address, enclose one recently taken passport-sized photograph, and provide a contact phone/mobile number.
