Nepal Covid-19 Update: 5133 New Cases, 6570 Recovered and 108 Deaths (8 June 2021)

Nepal Covid-19 Updates

In the last 24 hours, an additional 5,153 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 108 people have died and 6,570 have been recovered from the corona infection.

In the last 24 hours, 12,065 PCR tests have confirmed infection in 3,870 and 5,611 antigen tests have confirmed infection in 1,283 people.

At the same time, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 611,308. Out of which 5 lakh 45 thousand 30 people have recovered. The number of active infected people in the country is 82 thousand 736. The coronavirus has killed 8,098 people so far.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 836 cases of corona have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 318 in Jhapa, 269 in Lalitpur, 220 in Kaski, 191 in Morang, 171 in Sunsari, 121 in Bhaktapur, 120 in Kailali, 106 in Makwanpur and 102 in Surkhet.

Similarly, 95 corona infections have been reported in Palpa, 84 in Chitwan, 82 in Sarlahi, 68 in Rupandehi, 65 in Dang, 62 in Nuwakot, 60 in Dolakha, 52 in Sindhuli, 49 in Gorkha, 46 in Kavrepalanchok, 45 in Dhading, 40 in Siraha and 40 in Rasuwa.

There are 37 cases in Tanahu, 33 in Sindhupalchowk, 29 in Rolpa, 26 in Saptari, 25 in Baitadi, 24 in Kanchanpur, 23 in Mahottari, 22 in Doti, 19 in Kapilvastu, 12 in Nawalparasi East, 12 in Banke and 11 in Dhankuta, Rautahat, Ramechhap and 11 in Dailekh.

Similarly, 9 in Okhaldhunga, 9 in Achham, 8 in Bara, 8 in Arghakhanchi, 8 in Gulmi, 8 in Jumla, 7 in Ilam, 7 in Udaipur, 7 in Bardiya, 5 in Bhojpur, 5 in Parsa, 4 in Solukhumbu, 4 in Kalikot, 3 in Tehrathum, 3 in Khotang, 2 in Taplejung and 2 in Sankhuwasabha, 2 in Pyuthan, 2 in Rukum West, 1 in Panchthar, and 1 in Salyan.

Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 105 children under the age of 10 and corona infection in 338 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years, according to the ministry.
