Nepal Covid-19 Update: 7448 New Cases and 37 Deaths In the Last 24 Hours [2078 Baishakh 20 - 3rd May 2021, Monday]

The covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 7,448 people in the last 24 hours. A record number of corona infections are being found every day in Nepal. A total of 7,211 people were found infected on Sunday.

Similarly, 37 people have died in the last 24 hours. So far 3362 people have lost their lives in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the PCR of 16,658 people and antigen testing of 518 people confirmed the infection in 7,388 and 60 people respectively. At the same time, the total number of infected people in Nepal has reached 343,418.

In the last 24 hours, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2922 people in Kathmandu alone. Similarly, 222 cases have been confirmed in Bhaktapur and 522 in Lalitpur. Similarly, 440 cases have been confirmed in Banke and 619 in Rupandehi.

During the same period, 2021 more people have been recovered. So far, 286015 people have been recovered. Nepal's recovery rate has dropped to 83.3 percent after a record number of infections were found. At the same time, the number of active infected people in Nepal is 54,041.
