Nepal Covid-19 Update: 8167 New Cases and 187 Deaths (15th May 2021):

In the last 24 hours, an additional 187 people have died from corona infection and 8,167 have been confirmed infected. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the death toll has risen to 4,856.

According to the ministry, 17971 people were tested by PCR method and 577 by antigen method on Saturday and 8167 people were confirmed to have corona infection.

Of the 18,548 people tested, 8,167 have been confirmed infected. At the same time, the total number of active infected has reached 1 lakh 9 thousand 740.

So far, 333,108 people have been recovered. In the last 24 hours, 5455 people have been recovered.

In the last 24 hours, 2146 coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Kathmandu. Similarly, 444 cases have been confirmed in Lalitpur and 347 in Bhaktapur.

In the last 24 hours, 2,937 corona infections have been added in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of them, 2,146 are from Kathmandu, 444 from Lalitpur and 347 from Bhaktapur.

Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 505 people in Banke, 495 in Rupandehi, 443 in Kailali, 354 in Morang, 278 in Bardiya, 275 in Dang, 198 in Makwanpur, 185 in Surkhet and 184 in Kanchanpur. According to the ministry, 173 people have been infected in Jhapa, 118 in Dhanusha, 104 in Parsa, 103 in Myagdi, 99 in Sunsari, 80 in Tanahu, 79 in Nuwakot, 70 in Kavre and 78 in Dailekh.

Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 71 people in Mahottari, 62 in Doti, 59 in Gorkha, 58 in Saptari and 58 in Ramechhap.
