Nepal Covid-19 Update: 8305 New Cases and 190 Deaths (20th May 2021)
In the last 24 hours, 190 people have died from corona infection. 8305 people have been infected and 6543 people have been recovered. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 22,087 samples were tested and the infection was confirmed in 8,305 people. At the same time, the number of infected people has reached 115,852. Of them, 1 lakh 8 thousand 38 are in home isolation.
7 thousand 814 infected people are in institutional isolation. Of them, 1748 are in ICU, out of which 492 have been given ventilator support.
According to the ministry, corona infection has been confirmed in 4,88,645 people so far. Of them, 5,847 have died and 366,946 have been recovered. In the last 24 hours alone, 6543 people have been recovered, according to the ministry.
The highest number of corona cases has been reported in Kathmandu with 2,600, 510 in Rupandehi, 450 in Morang, 403 in Lalitpur, 309 in Banke, and 300 in Surkhet.
Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 260 people in Kailali, 245 in Dang, 229 in Bhaktapur, 208 in Bardiya, 201 in Kaski, 195 in Dhanusha, 136 in Palpa, 129 in Sunsari, 125 in Kavrepalanchok, 111 in Mahottari, 105 in Kanchanjpur and 100 in Chitwan.
Similarly, Nawalparasi has 95 in West, 94 in Kapilvastu, 94 in Achham, 84 in Salyan, 72 in Okhaldhunga, 79 in Saptari, 72 in Dolakha, 67 in Jhapa, 61 in Baitadi, 60 in Tanahu, 60 in Dhading, 56 in Dhading, 46 in Sindhuli, 4 in Parsa, 45 in Dhankhalda, 44 in Dhankuta. There is 37 infected corona in Doti, 35 in Darchula, 33 in Myagdi, 32 in Gulmi, 31 in Rautahat, and 30 in Arghakhanchi.
Sarlahi 28, Siraha 27, Bara 25, Nuwakot 25, Udaipur 24, Khotang 24, Kalikot 22, Parbat 20, Bhojpur 17, Jajarkot 17, Jumla 17, Sankhuwasabha 14, Makwanpur 13, Gorkha 12, Ilam 11, Sindhupalchowk 9, Taplejung 8 And in Baglung, corona infection has been seen in 7 people.
Similarly, 6 corona infections have been reported in Panchthar, 6 in Nawalparasi East, 5 in Solukhumbu, 4 in Ramechhap, 4 in Lamjung, 4 in Pyuthan, 3 in Rolpa, 3 in West Rukum, 3 in Humla, 2 in Tehrathum, 2 in Bajura and 1 in Mustang.
Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 227 children under 9 years of age while 529 corona infections in the age group of 10 to 19 years have been added.
