Nepal Covid-19 Updates

In the last 24 hours, 8,636 people have been confirmed infected and 169 have died. The PCR test of 22,306 samples in laboratories across the country tested 8387 and 630 antigen tests confirmed 249 infections.

At the same time, the number of active infected has reached 117,261, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

So far, 5 lakh 28 thousand 848 have been infected. Of them, 404887 have been recovered. In the last 24 hours, 6404 people have been recovered. So far 6,700 have died.

According to the Ministry of Health, the highest number of corona cases has been reported in Kathmandu in 1863, 578 in Kaski, 427 in Lalitpur, 417 in Morang, 375 in Kailali, and 328 in Kavrepalanchowk.

Similarly, Sindhupalchowk has 271, Sunsari 267, Rupandehi 224, Dhading 201, Jhapa 180, Sarlahi 173, Dang 159, Lamjung 144, Surkhet 144, Ramechhap 143, Kanchanpur 130, Gorkha 121, Chitwan 119, Dhanusha 117, and Dhankuta 117. 103 infected people have been added.

Similarly, 183 children under the age of 9 have been found to be infected with corona, while 676 people under the age of 10 to 19 have been infected with corona, the ministry said.
