Nepal Covid-19 Update: 8960 New Cases and 214 Deaths (13th May 2021):
In the last 24 hours, an additional 8960 coronavirus infections have been confirmed across the country. Another 214 people died, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Thursday. 5055 people have been recovered from Corona.
The PCR method tested 1,9474 people and the antigen method tested 771 people, confirming the infection in 8,960 people, respectively.
At the same time, the total number of corona infections has reached 431,191 across the country and the number of those recovered has reached 321,518. Similarly, 5,055 corona infections have been reported in the last 24 hours.
At present, the number of active infected people in the country has reached 105,207 and the total number of deaths is 4466. Although prohibitory orders have been issued in most districts of the country to prevent and control the second wave of corona infection, the spread of the infection has not stopped.
Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2733 people in Kathmandu in the last 24 hours. Similarly, 348 cases have been confirmed in Bhaktapur and 481 in Lalitpur.
