Nepal Covid-19 Update: 9247 New Cases and 214 Deaths (17th May 2021)
In the last 24 hours, 214 people have died due to coronavirus infection. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the infection has been confirmed in 9,247 people.
At the same time, the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in Nepal has reached 5,215. The death toll was 203 last Friday, 187 on Saturday, and 145 on Sunday.
In the last 24 hours, 21,653 PCR tests confirmed the infection in 9,198 people and 434 antigen tests in 49 people. At the same time, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in Nepal has reached 464,218.
Out of which, the number of active infected has reached one lakh 13 thousand 480. Of the active infected, one lakh 6 thousand 510 are in home isolation and six thousand 970 are in institutional isolation. Similarly, there are 1,259 in ICU and 400 in the ventilator.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours is 5,767. So far, the number recovered is three lakh 55 thousand 223.
