Nepal Covid-19 Friday Update: In the Last 24 Hours, 2559 Cases and 5 Deaths

In the last 24 hours, an additional 2559 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus (Covid-19). Of the 8798 PCR tests, 2449 and 866 antigen tests confirmed 110 coronary infections in a total of 2559 people. According to the Ministry of Health, five people have died in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 410 people have been recovered and discharged from the infection.

Currently, 14,724 people are infected with the coronavirus across the country. At the same time, 276,755 individuals have recovered from coronavirus infection.

In the last 24 hours, corona infection has been confirmed in 940 more people in Kathmandu Valley. In Kathmandu, 760 people have been found infected with corona, 74 in Bhaktapur, and 106 in Lalitpur.

Similarly, 354 people were found infected in Banke, 221 in Rupandehi, 91 in Surkhet, 79 in Dang, 74 in Morang, 72 in Kailali, 67 in Kaski, 62 in Parsa, 39 in Bardiya, 32 in Palpa, 31 in Dhanusha, and 30 in Makwanpur.

The ministry also confirmed corona infection in 27 cases in Chitwan, 22 in Kavrepalanchok, 22 in Kanchanpur, 21 in Bara, 21 in Nawalparasi West, 15 in Kapilvastu, 14 in Mahottari, 14 in Gulmi, 13 in Rautahat, 13 in Arghakhanchi, 12 in Nuwakot, 11 in Sunsari and 11 in Baglung.

Of those infected in the last 24 hours, 54 were children under the age of 9, and 199 were under the age of 10 to 19.
