Nepal Issues 114,924 No Objection Certificates for Study Abroad in FY 2082/83
The Ministry of Education and Sports issued a total of 114,924 No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to students seeking higher education abroad during the fiscal year 2082/83 BS.
The figure was disclosed in the ministry's annual report.
Nepali students planning to pursue higher education in foreign countries are required to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the ministry.
According to the ministry's report, the number of Nepali students seeking higher education abroad has remained consistently high in recent years.
Ministry spokesperson Shriprasad Bhattarai stated that the Foreign Study Permission Section is responsible for issuing study permission certificates to Nepali students intending to study abroad.
The section also handles recommendations required for foreign currency exchange related to overseas education.
