Notice regarding manipulation of services available from Nepal Nursing Council:
Regarding the implementation of the National Medical Education Act 2075 and the issuance of the National Medical Education Regulation 2077 after the formation of the Medical Education Commission; Since some of the functions and services being coordinated by the Nepal Nursing Council will be performed by the Medical Education Commission; There is a request for the information of all regarding the following services and areas of work as per the specifications.
Services Provided by Nepal Nursing Council:
- To register the ANM name.
- To conduct registration examination for nurse and midwife.
- To renew the names of ANMs, nurses, and midwives.
- To work related to CPD (continuous professional development).
- To registered and revoked the names of nursing professionals and midwives.
- To make Good Standing Letter / Verification.
- To determine and implement the Code of Business Conduct.
- Determining the work limits of nurses and nurses.
- Other functions specified in the Act and Rules.
Services provided by the Medical Education Commission:
- To give consultation and recognition to nursing education institutions.
- To inspect, monitor, and determine the number of seats in nursing educational institutions.
- Issuance of Eligibility Certificate.
