No Applicants for Vice Chancellor at SDCHSU
No applications were received twice for the appointment to the position of Vice Chancellor at Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University (SDCHSU).
The recommendation committee formed for the appointment of Vice Chancellor first issued a notice from Kartik 16 to Kartik 30, and later extended the deadline until Mangsir 5. However, no application was submitted within that timeframe.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Mahabir Pun, made a public appeal on Friday, stating, “Even after advertising the position of Vice Chancellor twice, no applications were received.
Therefore, with the aim of serving the motherland, any interested patriotic son or daughter of Nepal who is a professor or holds a doctoral degree in the health sector is requested to submit an application. Or, please contact me directly.”
The Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University Act, 2082 passed by the Federal Parliament was authenticated by President Ramchandra Paudel on Asar 4.
