Notice from Nepal Teachers Association

It has been confirmed that the government has neglected the education sector after the establishment of the republic, ignoring the call for educational reforms of teachers and staff who have played a significant role in establishing a federal democratic republic. It has been confirmed that education is not in the priority of the government.

In the absence of the Federal Education Act and the Provincial Education Act, the activities at the local level have become evident at the local level of inaction and retaliation towards the teachers. Most points of consensus reached between the Discussion Team and the government formed after the agitation by the Nepal Teachers' Federation on 2075/11/09 demanding educational governance were not implemented, and the remaining points of the talks were ridiculed without being discussed. Also, due to the serious attention of the Nepal Teachers' Association regarding the details of the ministry, which led to the educational chaos in the meantime, immediately: -

1. The key points of the six points agreed in the talks have not been implemented. The points to be included in the proposed federal law are ignored. The government has not even implemented the minimum wage fixed by the government, especially for child teachers and staff. As per the immediate consensus, payroll facilities should be made available from 2076/04/01 and the remaining important points should be implemented.

2. After the pressure of the Federation of Nepalese Teachers in the creation of the Federal Education Act, the Chairman of the Federation was included in the Drafting Committee. Nepal Teachers' Association has a serious disagreement with the Federal Education Act, which has been sent to the Ministry of Finance, contrary to the agreement that the draft education committee has agreed to the necessary discussion and discussion at the meeting of the committee. The dissent of the federal law has been forwarded without discussing the suggestions and consensus of the Nepal Teachers' Association without including important issues like timely extension, temporary service count, inclusion in the child classroom school structure, and the meeting of the committee immediately before the drafting of the House. Important points should be included.

3. Position matching: According to the agreement on the distribution of tariffs with the Ministry, the process of matching the hindrance of quality education should be stopped immediately as the local government is directed to create an atmosphere of terror in the educational institutions.

4. Volunteer Teacher: The Constitutional Teacher Service Commission, in violation of the agreement to provide one-of-a-kind teachers through the one-door system, should recruit volunteer teachers who have no training and licenses. The government should Provide qualified teachers and recruitment through regular examination by the Teacher Services Commission.

It is also informed that if the important issues mentioned above are not implemented immediately, the Nepal Teachers' Association will be forced to go into strong agitation and the responsible Ministry of Education will be responsible for the consequences.
