The attendance of students in the online class of Master Level conducted in the affiliated campus of Tribhuvan University is increasing. Many students are still unaware of the operation of online classes at the undergraduate level.

After the coronavirus infection, the university instructed the campus in the first week of April to launch online classes without wasting students' academic sessions. Following the university's directive, many campuses have launched online classes from the second week of April without wasting students' semesters.

Balram Thapa, Campus Chief of Public Youth Campus, said that the online classes conducted at the postgraduate level are becoming effective. The campus conducts online first, second, and fourth semester studies in MBS towards management.

According to Campus Chief Thapa, the fourth-year students have been given preface writing and research paper writing classes. It has 80 percent student participation. In addition, classes for the first and second semesters have also been conducted and only the subjects that are yet to be examined have been taught. About 50 percent of students participate in it.

At the undergraduate level, the effectiveness of online classes is low. In the first year of BBS, the campus has introduced online classes, but 30 out of 1,000 students do not participate. We also searched for undergraduate students, many students from hilly districts have reached home, the class has not been effective because they do not have online access - said Campus Chief Thapa.

The Mahendra Ratna Campus in the capital, which teaches pedagogy, has been conducting online classes on nine subjects at the undergraduate level since April. Mentioning that the online class has been conducted by making necessary preparations for the teachers, Campus Chief Krishna Prasad Dhakal said that up to 80 percent of students have participated in some subjects.

Undergraduate level classes have not been conducted on that campus either. Although more than 2,000 students are studying at the undergraduate level, the campus has not yet been able to establish contact with the students.

Campus Chief Dhakal informed that the work of archiving students has been completed with the objective of conducting online classes for undergraduate students. Although it is possible to run students' classes online, they have a problem finding out where they are, said Campus Chief Dhakal.

Sixty percent of the students in the MBS program at Shankar Dev Campus, where management subjects are taught, are connected to online classes. Campus Chief Krishna Prasad Acharya informed that the BBS program for graduates could not be conducted. On the other hand, the attendance of students in BBA, BBM, and other programs run by the university without any investment by the university is around 90 percent. He said that the university has conducted online classes so that the student's semester is not wasted and it will be successful.

An online class has been conducted in the central department of the university from the second week of April.

The online class at Ph.D. and M.Phil level in the Central Department have been very effective and almost 100% of the students are participating. Tikaram Gautam informed. Earlier, study materials were sent online to those students and the operation of the class was effective as the students also live in the city and have access to technology.
