Prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley for a week from Baishakh 16 to 22

Prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley for a week from Baishakh 16 to 22:

In Kathmandu Valley, non-essential services and transportation will be closed from Baishakh 16 to Baishakh 22. Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur districts issued a joint statement on Monday evening instructing them to stop non-essential services.

However, vehicles carrying essential goods, ambulances carrying patients and their relatives (maximum 2 persons), vehicles used by health workers, and security agencies have not been barred from entering the Kathmandu Valley.

Public and private vehicles will not be allowed to operate in the Kathmandu Valley for seven days from Baishakh 16.

The Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur District Administration Offices have decided to ban driving from 6 am on Baishakh 16 to 12 midnight on Baishakh 16 to control Covid-19.
