Prohibitory Orders Issued in Total 69 Districts:

Prohibitory orders have been issued in 69 districts in full and in part to control corona infection. As corona infection is on the rise, the local administration has issued full and partial prohibitory orders in 57 districts and fixed places (Covid-19 affected areas) in 12 districts, according to a Home Ministry statement.

Prohibition orders have not been issued in Rukum East, Mustang, Manang, Lamjung, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Bhojpur, and Tehrathum.

The prohibitory order imposed in three districts of Kathmandu Valley from 16th to 29th of Baishakh is coming to an end on 29th of Baishakh. The District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) has recommended imposing prohibitory orders for another 15 days in the Kathmandu Valley. Similarly, the prohibitory order imposed on Baishakh 15 in Kaski has been extended till midnight of 29th of Baishakh, while the prohibitory order issued in Parsa from 16 Baisahkh has been extended till 31 Baishakh.

The prohibitory order imposed on Banke, which has been most affected by the second wave of corona infection, has been extended till Jestha 3. Similarly, the period of prohibitory orders issued in Surkhet from Baishakh 14 has been extended till Baishakh 31.

Prohibition orders have also been issued in Chitwan, Baglung, Sunsari, Bardiya, and Jhapa. Prohibition orders imposed in Morang will continue till the 31st of Jeshta.

Prohibition orders have been issued in Kavre, Makwanpur, Ramechhap, Parbat, Taplejung, Myagdi, Tanahu, Ilam, Sindhupalchowk, Dhankuta, and Saptari only in some local levels and areas, according to the Home Ministry.
