Promotion Recommendation List Published for Engineering and Agriculture Posts, Agriculture Merit Order Revised
Kathmandu | Magh 8, 2082 — The Promotion Committee Secretariat has published the recommendation list of candidates for performance-based promotion to various posts of Gazetted Second Class (equivalent to Under Secretary level) in the Civil Service.
This notice has been issued as per the decision dated 2082/10/07 of the Promotion Committee under the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
As per the notice published for the purpose of Section 20(4) and 24Cha of the Civil Service Act, 2049, candidates have been recommended in the Civil and Meteorology groups under the Nepal Engineering Service, while the Secretariat stated that no applications were received for the Mining and Metallurgical groups.

Meteorology Group
According to Notice No. 78-082/83, Manju Basi (Total Score: 88.5207) has been recommended for promotion to the Gazetted Second Class post under the Nepal Engineering Service, Meteorology group.

Revised Merit Order Published for Agriculture Service
The Promotion Committee has revised the previously published recommendation list for the Gazetted Second Class post under the Nepal Agriculture Service, Agriculture Extension group. Implementing the Administrative Court order dated 2082/06/26 (Case No. 081-AC-0082), the Committee amended the decision dated 2081/09/26.
As per the revised list, the total score of all four candidates has been maintained at 100.0000. According to the revised merit order, Shiva Aryal, Prajna Shrestha, Sharad Pandey, and Anuma Bhattarai have been recommended from first to fourth position respectively.
