PU Faculty of Management MPhil Orientation Concludes
Ilam, February 10, 2026 [Magh 27, 2082 BS].
A two-day orientation program organized by the Purbanchal University Faculty of Management (PUFOM) under the Darshanacharya (MPhil) and PhD programs concluded on Sunday.
The program was held for MPhil third-semester students.
Program Venue and Training Focus
The program took place at Kutidanda, a scenic tourist destination in Ilam.
Participants received intensive training on modern research methods and academic writing.
Emphasis on Research Quality
The program aimed to make higher education research work more quality-focused and time-relevant.

Coordination and Facilitation
The program was conducted under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Jivan Kumar Dhakal, Director of the university’s PhD and Darshanacharya programs.

The trainers discussed multiple aspects of the research paper writing process, data analysis, and academic integrity.
Participant Feedback: “A Productive Experience”
Participants said the practice conducted in a calm and natural environment outside the classroom was highly productive.
According to Kavita Paudel, Kutidanda’s natural setting added new energy and clarity to research work.
Another researcher, Shashank Pokharel, expressed enthusiasm about the program and said the thematic presentation and seminar organized in Ilam were completed successfully. He stated:
“The thematic presentation and seminar organized in Ilam were successfully completed. The meaningful discussions and in-depth interactions here have provided a very productive experience.”
Ongoing Priority for Practical Research Skills
Purbanchal University’s Faculty of Management has been prioritizing such programs to help researchers build stronger practical competence in research.
