Rapti Academy of Health Sciences to Donate Two Days' Salary for Bhotekoshi Flood Relief
Rapti Academy of Health Sciences has announced that two days' salary from its teachers and employees will be deposited in the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support and assist citizens affected by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
In a public commitment issued by Vice-Chancellor Ajay Kumar Mishra, the Academy paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the flood, expressed condolences to the bereaved families, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. During this difficult period of disaster, the Academy has decided that an amount equivalent to two days' salary will be contributed voluntarily by its teachers and employees to the fund to support and assist flood-affected people.
The Academy also stated that its teachers and employees are providing financial and material assistance individually and that such support will continue in the coming days according to needs and circumstances.
The Academy has further expressed its commitment to remain ready to coordinate with various agencies of the Government of Nepal to provide necessary health services and other assistance to citizens in disaster-affected areas.
The notice states that the Academy remains prepared and committed to protecting lives and delivering health services to people affected by natural disasters, as well as potential natural and human-induced emergencies.
