Schools in Tokha Municipality will be closed from Baishakha 9 onwards. Tokha is going to close all the schools from Baishakha 9 considering the second phase of corona infection.
Prakash Adhikari, Chief of the municipality, informed that the school will be closed from Baishakha 9 to prevent the spread of corona infection in Tokha schools.
"It has been decided to spread awareness among the students about the second phase of corona in all the schools from 5th to 8th of Baishakha, close all the schools from 10th to 15th of Baishakha and conduct annual examination from 16th of Baishakha following the health standards," he said.
Similarly, Tokha will give priority to miking, hoarding wards, and construction of isolation rooms to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the municipality.
Baburam Gautam, chief of the education department of the municipality, said that there are eight community schools, 84 private schools, and 35 Montessori schools in Tokha.
