SEE Exam will be Conducted at National Level:
The government is going to conduct the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in the old style and structure. The Council of Ministers has decided that the National Examination Board will conduct SEE like last year in coordination with the state government.
The Council of Ministers has coordinated with the province government regarding the conduct and management of the academic session and annual examination of school education.
Due to the lack of law, the SEE examination of class 10 is still being conducted at the national level. Although the SEE examination should be conducted at the province level, the province has not been able to make clear laws in this regard.
Chairman of the National Examination Board Prof. Dr. Chandramani Poudel said that the way is now open for the board to move forward after the government gave the authority. He said that the board has to conduct the examination in the absence of clear law and credible institutions to conduct the SEE in the state.
Now, the board will move ahead with the preparation of the exam by making necessary coordination with the state government. The board has stated that it has to work in coordination as the state government has the financial responsibility to print the answer scripts. Currently, the work of filling the SEE exam form is underway.
In addition to this, work related to examination including preparation of question papers has been taken forward. Poudel, chairman of the board, said that although the board was able to conduct the SEE within the coming April, the minimum learning of the students could not be ensured. The board has not yet made an official decision on the exam.
In addition, the board has been given the authority to manage the academic session. Although the school is currently operating physically, the beginning and end of the academic session have not been clarified.
