Startup Loan Initial List Published for Further Evaluation
Location: Kathmandu
The Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI) has asked project proposers included in the preliminary list under the “Startup Enterprise Loan 2082” program to submit their business details through WhatsApp for further evaluation. The institute issued a notice instructing them to send the details in the prescribed format by Baisakh 23, 2083, 5:00 p.m.
Among the applications received in response to the project proposal call made under the “Startup Enterprise Loan Program Operation Procedure, 2082, including the first amendment,” the preliminary list of eligible proposers under Section 4 has been published on the institute’s website.
According to the press release published by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies on 2082/12/09, the institute clarified that a new evaluation arrangement has been made because the presentation of business plans would involve higher expenses for proposers, be cumbersome, take more time, and make it difficult to complete the program within the fiscal year.
The evaluation will now be carried out based on the field inspection details received from Enterprise Development Facilitators (EDF) at the concerned local level, photos and videos of the enterprise, and additional information submitted by the proposers included in the preliminary list.
Process for Submitting Details
According to the institute, proposers included in the preliminary list must follow the process below while submitting their details:
-
Click the link received through SMS or visit the institute’s website at https://iedi.gov.np and download the required information format.
-
Fill in the business details clearly and completely as per the format.
-
Send the fully completed format mandatorily to the prescribed WhatsApp number: 9712006717.
