
Notice on University-Level STEAM Competition Application
Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, has issued this notice as per the approved annual program for the fiscal year 2082/83. The purpose of this initiative is to organize a competitive event among students enrolled in universities, constituent campuses, or affiliated colleges to encourage the creation of STEAM-related materials.
For this year, the competition topic has been mentioned in the Terms of Reference (T.O.R.) listed in Schedule–5 of the operational guidelines.
Application Process
In the first phase, applications will be invited from individual students or groups of students pursuing higher education at universities, constituent, or affiliated campuses. Based on the applications received, selected candidates or groups will be shortlisted for the second phase.
The selected participants will be provided five (5) months to design and develop their proposed materials.
According to the “Procedure for Conducting University-Level Competitive Program on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), 2082”, each selected student or group will receive financial support of up to NPR 150,000 (One Lakh Fifty Thousand) for the development of their project materials.
Submission Method and Deadline
Interested students must submit their applications by 2082/08/07.
Applications must be prepared according to Sections (a) and (b) of Schedule–2 of the procedure, with all required documents verified and scanned.
The completed application should be submitted via email to innovation@moest.gov.np.
