
Tribhuvan University (TU) Published Notice on PhD Course Work for Equivalency
Important Notice from Tribhuvan University Curriculum Development Centre Regarding Course Work Implementation at PhD Level.
Following the implementation of coursework requirements by various universities worldwide, and in accordance with the minimum standards and procedures for PhD degrees introduced by the University Grants Commissions of Nepal and India, coursework at the PhD level has become mandatory.
As per the decision made by the Degree Recognition and Equivalency Determination Committee during its meeting held on 2082 Jestha 29, this notice applies to:

Applicants who have earned a PhD degree from various universities

Individuals who have applied for degree equivalency at this centre

Applicants whose equivalency decisions are still pending
Documents Required for Equivalency Application
Applicants are required to submit the following documents along with their application file:

Proof that coursework and other academic activities were completed at the concerned university

Evidence of staying at the university for at least nine months during the study period

Prior approval letter from the employing institution

Proof of officially sanctioned leave

An official letter issued by the university clearly states that the applicant will be physically present throughout the study duration.
All individuals concerned are requested to attach the above documents to their equivalency application file as required.
