UGC Publishes List of Proposals Selected for Collaborative Research Grant
Bhaktapur — The University Grants Commission, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal, has published the list of applicants selected for the Collaborative Research Grant for the fiscal year 2082/83. The Research and Scholarship Division of the Commission issued a notice on Jestha 21, 2083, stating that research proposals under seven different clusters, or subject areas, have been selected.
According to the notice issued by Division Director Dr. Niraj Dhital, the applicants were selected on the basis of evaluation of proposals received by the Commission, presentation, applicants’ academic qualifications, and publication of research articles.
The selected applicants must submit their consent to the Commission by Ashadh 10, 2083, to receive the grant amount. The notice clearly states that the Commission will not be obliged to release the grant amount if consent is not provided within the specified time. In addition, selected applicants are required to submit certification from their working institution confirming that they are not on any kind of study leave.
